If u hv land space, u can go into crop and vegetable production as well and employ daily pay labourers.
Pepper is 6 months for harvest, hybrid 4 months, tomatoes 3 months, vegetables 2 to 3 months, maize 3 months, yam and cassava wt potatoes 6 months, plantain 8 to 12 months. Note: Poultry is a dangerous zone and no go area for starters or agriculture freshers. Like I said the in the ranking of livestock venture comparative viability, Snailery still remains top, followed by piggery and the others follow suit but d major challenge is that Nigeria is yet to step up production in this top 2 livestock ventures such as Piggery and Snailery to compete with, Spain, Germany, Brazil, Sweden, Austria, China, France, Netherlands, India, Australia, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Mexico, Russia, Liechtenstein, USA, and the UK in terms of livestock farming. Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Benin Republic, Uganda and Liberia are doing great in this light in Africa as regards the Agricultural export market as most of the influx of imported food in Nigeria are from these far and near African countries. Nigeria livestock market needs to step up from the local and stereo type market approach to a global and acceptable standards. If u can afford to plough 80k into fishery constructively, blv me in d next 4 to 6 months your sure to make 250k on harvest as interest or your return on investment. What else can u ask for as this is a good reward for your money and effort. No greed, grandiloquos nor outrageous expectations but good reward for deligency. Spawning or hatchery and feeding is a major challenge in fishery for most starters. Once u scale this bridge at less cost using some known inventive and alternative options, d sky is surely your limit.
